One goal. Three ways to get there.
Every business buys engineering differently. Some want a finished product for a fixed price. Some want a team that feels like their own. Some just want the right people hired. X-istech works all three ways — pick the one that fits how you operate.
X-istech works with clients in three ways: a fixed-scope project (agreed deliverable, timeline and price), a dedicated team (full-time developers and designers embedded in your workflow), and RPO staffing (technical hires placed on your payroll, or dedicated recruiters for your desk). All three are delivered from Pune, India.
The three models, side by side.
| Fixed-Scope Project | Dedicated Team | RPO Staffing | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | One defined product or website | Ongoing, growing product work | Hiring people, not building a product |
| What you get | A finished, launched deliverable | A full-time pod that works as your team | Sourced, vetted candidates — or dedicated recruiters |
| Pricing basis | One fixed price for the agreed scope | Monthly fee per team member | Per desk (agents) or per placement (direct hire) |
| Team | Assembled by X-istech for your project | Dedicated, named people who stay with you | Recruiters or sourced candidates, depending on the module |
| Your involvement | Light: milestone reviews and sign-offs | High: you set priorities, we execute | You interview and decide on every hire |
| Flexibility | Changes handled through a change request | Scale the team up or down with notice | Add or pause desks as hiring volume moves |
| Typical start | After scoping and a signed proposal | Within a few weeks of agreeing the team | Shortlists in days once the role is scoped |

What are the ways to work with X-istech?
X-istech offers three engagement models: a fixed-scope project with an agreed deliverable, timeline and price; a dedicated team of developers and designers embedded in your workflow; and RPO staffing, where X-istech sources and places technical hires or supplies dedicated recruiters.
Which engagement model is best for outsourcing web development to India?
If the work is a single, well-defined build, choose a fixed-scope project for a predictable budget and date. If the work is continuous — a product with an ever-growing backlog — a dedicated team is usually the better fit because the same people accumulate context on your product.
Can I start with a fixed-scope project and move to a dedicated team later?
Yes. Many clients begin with a fixed-scope build, then keep the same engineers on as a dedicated team once the product is live. Because the people who built it already know the codebase, the transition requires almost no hand-over.
What is the difference between a dedicated team and RPO?
A dedicated team builds your product: developers and designers who work inside your sprints. RPO is about hiring: X-istech either places technical talent directly onto your payroll, or supplies dedicated recruiters to a staffing firm's own desk.
How do we communicate day to day?
Live, not by email alone. X-istech's delivery team in Pune, India joins your stand-ups, reviews and hand-offs on video or chat, and works inside your own tools so you always see progress.
